
The ECRR is a European network consisting of national centres and individual members bound by their mission to enhance and promote river restoration throughout Europe.
The ECRR counteracts the threats to natural riverine habitats by fostering the establishment of national river restoration networks, and by disseminating information on river restoration.

ECRR organised the seminar "Forging targets and Solutions for Rivers and Water Ecosystem Restoration" in Ljubljana, 16-18 November 2011.

This event was organised as part of the process of the 6th World Water Forum. It was a great success, with over 100 participants from 27 countries actively joining discussions.
The presentations are now available!The ECRR welcomes the Institute for Water of the Republic of Slovenia as the Slovenian national centre within the network! You can find more information on the institute on their website.
ECRR looks forward to continuing collaboration with the Institute, most notably within framework of the further activities within the WWF6 process.

Riverprize 2012 - Apply now!
International RiverFoundation invites to you to apply for the 2012 Thiess International or Australian Riverprize. This is awarded annually for outstanding achievements in the restoration and preservation of rivers, lakes, wetlands and estuaries. The 2012 Riverprizes will be awarded at the Riverprize Gala Dinner held during the 15th International Riversymposium on 8-11 October in Melbourne, Australia.
