Wetlands International is the only global non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to the conservation and restoration of wetlands. It is a not-for-profit organisation. It works via our twenty offices, partners and experts. Most of the work is financed on a project basis by governments and private donors. Wetlands International is also supported by government and NGO membership.

Its headquarters is based in the Netherlands. All of its offices contribute to develop and implement our global Strategy and work to achieve the global targets.
