Eel Science Symposium
'Science into Management'

The symposium, is organised by the Sustainable Eel Group and supported by ZSL, London Zoo, Institute of Fisheries Management and the Environment Agency all UK.
The symposium aims to provide a global forum for scientists and researchers to present the latest data and initatives on the biology and management of anguillid eels. It will foster and develop international links between key academic, policy industrial and other stakeholders to promote better understanding of the issues, parallels and conservation opportunities for this iconic species.
The symposium will bring together speakers and delgates from around the world for three days of presentations, posters, panel sessions as well as a number of social events including an evening reception on the River Thames.
The organising committee would welcome submissions under 8 subject areas and in relation to all 16 species of freshwater eels.
