In this edition of the ECRR eNewsletter a large number of varied topics are covered, in both the sections news, publications or events. But one part stands out and that is the 25th International River Symposium that this time, outside Australia, will be held in Vienna, Austria in November. In addition, a number of other components are closely related to the symposium, such as the European Riverprize finalists, but also the Free Flow webinar. The first will be awarded at a Gala Dinner as an addition to the symposium programme. And the second is a full-fledged program part of the symposium. All in all, a wonderful combination that not only produces a lot of synergy organizationally, but also in terms of content. Moreover, there are also other topics, which of course fall within the river restoration theme, some of which have their own place in the annual agenda later in time.
