25th IRF International River Symposium & European Riverprize 2022

It is the 25th anniversary of the International Riversymposium that brings together science, business, communities, NGO's and government to advance IRF's efforts towards resilient rivers now and into the future. The overall theme: Journey to Reislience: Communities, Climate & Biodiversity reminds all that they must work together to achieve this goal. The symposium is from 27 - 30 November 2022 in Vienna, Austria & Online!

The European Riverprize was first awarded in 2013, the European Riverprize celebrates excellence in the management, conservation and development of Europe's rivers, wetlands and surrounding communities. From 2021, the emphasis of the International River Foundation shifted to buiding community and river resilience rather than just recovery. The winner will be announced at the Gala Dinner, on the 29th November at the 25th International Riversymposium in Vienna's City Hall.The deadline for abstract submissions closes on 6th June
