Does putting a price on rivers and rainfall diminish us all ?

Monbiot's analysis has generated an enormous debate between readers. It has also resulted in a response from  former Vice Chair of Friends of the Earth,  Tony Juniper, in today's Guardian, We Must Put a price on nature if we are going to save it.
